30 Years, 30 Remarkable Women
As Tribute to Women celebrates its 30th anniversary and the YWCA celebrates its 115th year, we are excited to announce a special tribute where we reflect on the legacy of women across East Tennessee and the work of the YWCA Knoxville.
At the 2014 Tribute to Women event, the YWCA Knoxville will highlight 30 incredible women from our area for their contributions in the last 30 years. These women will be announced in the Knoxville news Sentinel on June 22nd and will be honored on August 21st at the Knoxville Convention Center as we celebrate the legacy of peace, justice, freedom, and dignity that the YWCA has embodied for over a century.
- When: August 21, 2014 – Reception begins at 5:30 with the awards ceremony to follow at 7 p.m.
- Where: Knoxville Convention Center, 701 Henley Street
- Ticket Cost: $85 (includes admission to reception with heavy hors d’ oeuvres and one complimentary drink ticket and admission to the Tribute to Women program)
