We are excited to now be offering domestic violence services in Oak Ridge and Anderson County.
Our Victim Advocacy Program provide life-changing services for victims of domestic violence including Safety Planning and Danger Assessments, advocacy in court and in the community and support groups. All services are provided in both English and Spanish.
In addition, YWCA Advocates are available to conduct community education workshops to businesses, organizations, places of worship, schools and other locations throughout the community.
The YWCA plans to renovate and update the building and office space at 1660 Oak Ridge Turnpike. At this location, YWCA Advocates will be providing services to victims of domestic violence and adding other services as community needs are identified. This space will also be available for other organizations that are providing services which align with the YWCA’s mission. The opening of this building is still being decided at this time.
The additional building on Hoyt Lane which, as part of the agreement with the Davidson County Court, will be up for sale in the coming weeks.
